Hi guys,

its been a long time since I posted here...

I need some advice on which headset I should buy.
For quite a while time I've been using cheap ones (8€) that just last some months before it needs to be replaced. Mostly because of the cable getting damaged near the jack. Not like I pull it or anything but I guess its because of the low quality.

Got 70€ to spend on it, won't go much higher than that.

These are the ones I checked so far but I have no idea because I never spent much money on headsets:

-Razer Carcharias
-NOX KROM S7ven
-OZONE Rage 7HX

I told to myself I wouldn't buy any more razer products after my Blackwidow Chroma needed to be replaced after 2 months of low use but I like the Carcharias design.
Also I prefer the headsets which the microphone are on the headset and not on the cable.

Like I said I have no idea whats a quality headset because the ones I use at the moment seem good to me.

Thanks in advance :D

Maybe didn't explain myself clear, but I don't want to spend much more than 70€. I just don't play games like before. So spending a lot on a headset would be a waste.

But thanks anyway!

I've checked those too theres good and bad reviews and because I had a bad experience with a razer product before now I'm a bit on the fence.

Thanks

DT770 Pro's arent just great for gaming, you can use them for other things too. I use my philips Fidelio X1s (alot more expensive than the DT770 Pros) to listen to music or watch movies at night when everyone else is asleep, I also barely game much these days either, I will jump on BF4 with some other TPU members during the weekend although not every weeked. Most days im just making money on trade post in Guild wars 2 and I have all audio muted for that game.

my sister uses microsoft lifechat 3000 for almost 2(or even 3 - cant remember) years and it's still ok(she's not accurate person, so the quality is excellent as i think)
mostly she plays cs:source
headet uses usb, just 1 cable for both mic and audio
it got mic on/of button, volume +/- on cable(as i remember, may be more buttons)
win 8 install all drivers automatically as soon as you pop cable in usb port
so if i would be you i'll buy some stuff from microsoft
from your list i'll chose ozone only cause i can move mic in vertical position when dont using it

For headset duties I use a Sony Pulse Elite edition. A bit more than you want to spend but I love them. Wireless, batteries last a long time, can be plugged in wired via USB to use while charging and can even be attached with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to any 3.5mm female out. This method bypasses the surround sound and special effects but still cool.
