you currently have 1 stick of 4gb? While for CS it would be enough, for more demanding game 8GB or more is recommended. Memory speed doesn;t greatly impact fps in games so just get what is the cheapest

The tech support guy said they do not recommend using diffrent sticks, do you have thougths on that ?

There can be compatibility issues but I have never encountered them personally

It's basically the same card. It will be around 5% faster on average due to the higher factory clocks

yes you can no problem but as we talked earlier 4gb is considered minimum today

That was that there is a small change if you buy another dual channel kit that the both wont work together but normally that would work too just that it will run at the slowest speeds
