How to copy files from a dvd which doesnot copies?

i have a dvd and it stucks at 92% and i tried many copiers and they all stuck at 92% and the dvd is new.is there any way to copy data from it?

Are you trying to copy an Original Disk (Movie)?
Does the disk say Copy Protected?

You could download a trial of Alcohol 120% http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/download_120.php .
I bought a license years ago and I was able to copy some protected discs as well.

Most commercial CDs and DVD will have copyright protection.

You can use software like Alcohol 120% or Deamon Tools to bypass the protection. You can try using a ISO creation software like Magic ISO to covert the DVD into an image file. Then upload the image to a virtual drive. Then use the burning software to clone the unpacked image from the virtual drive.

Correct.

If the DVD/CD is copy protected, it's for a legal reason.
I know in some areas of the world "personal backup copy" reasons are perfectly acceptable and legal. If this is the case, create an ISO of it using Daemon Tools Lite.

AnyDVD + ISO burning program is built to remove copyrights for viewing purposes on pc without the HTPC compatibility

I have only come across one game disc that happened to be copy righted aka DRM otherwise consider that uncommon. Make the image file then burn a backup

Have you considered that your disk is simply broken at that point, causing the pause in copying?

Seriously, use a piece of software like Daemon Tools to copy your DVD stuff. It has logs that tell you what goes wrong so we don't all have to guess what is breaking without any information.

Take the steps people are recommending. If you're not doing that then there's no point in you making a thread asking for help you're going to ignore.

yes it paused while copying and i tried several softwares. i tried daemon tools and it shows disk read error at that point.

yes i tried it and it also stops at about 90% and gives errors in the error logs about drive read error and the read speed goes to 0.0x

Sounds like DRM to me, and I have seen most commercial game discs feature it, not just a select few.

Either optical medium is scratched at the wrong position (my System Shock 2 disc died like this, it's shiny new except one tiny scratch in wrong place that ruined it).

Other option is that files are copy protected.

Third option is that your optical drive is faulty. Easiest way to try is to copy the disc in some other unit/computer. If it's the same, then you're dealing with one of the first two options.
