I have an Intel i7-920 with a stock cooler. The fan has started to get fairly noisy so I took it off to oil it as I have done before with case fans.
Apparently, this fan does not have the normal plug/sticker on the back where I would normally oil it.
Does anyone know if I can add oil somehow? I had seen some people mention drilling or melting a small hole. From the looks of it the position on this fan is opposite of case fans so I would have to enter from the top/face of the fan rather than the backside.
Any advice?
