Hey All

I would like to learn how to overclock a processer.

I have a Athlon FX 57 (939/2.8GHz/1152k/2000FSB)on a MSI K8N NEO4 SLI motherboard with
2GB of PC3200/400MHz RAM.

Any help?

Google is your friend... there are lots of guides out there that will tell you everything you need to know. There is just too much to post here in one go. Just google "overclocking guide" or even your mother baord, sometimes that pulls up lots of good results that are very specific to what you need. This might be a good start, as it explains a lot.

You sure picked a hell of a good chip to overclock with too. I've seen those things at 3.6ghz before on air or light water cooling.

It does depend on the options in your BIOS, I had a Gigabyte board last year that basically only allowed you to change the HTT/FSB and nothing else, the board I have now has I would say more options than I can actually know what to do with (and DFI has more) and has resulted in a much better OC...and I would guess there is more to come. However, to be honest I don't actually need to OC this sucker and that monster you have will not need it either...but I guess that's not the point right?;)

Maybe someone with that mobo will be able to give better more focussed advice?
