Hyundai today rolled out the W243S 3D monitor in Europe. This 24-inch monitor suited for 3D entertainment uses a TN panel with a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, brightness of 300 cd/m², and response time of 5 ms. Display inputs include Component, HDMI, DVI, and D-Sub. 3W stereo speakers are integrated. The stand allows height and tilt adjustments. A software that converts 2D video to 3D is bundled. Hyundai is pricing the W243S at €1,399.

I'm not sure I know how to properly react to this... :twitch:

1920 x 1200 is nice to see, but then you've got TN at €1,399 and some magical software... :twitch:

Hahaha just yesterday i was saying i wish they would come out with 3d monitors (but i meant 120hz) at, at least 1920x1200 but umm i was kind of expecting a little less than €1,399... maybe one third the cost of that.

    Is this a 120hz monitor?

Polarized Glasses are provided with the TFT. Polarized ≠ shutter. Polarized ≠ red+green

Here is a video demo in 3D - with the polarized glasses - amazing

At that price one of the 3d images had better climb out of the screen and fix me a sandwich while I'm gaming.
