Intel Core 2 CPU 6420 Heat Concerns

I've just bought a new barebones machine with a Intel Core 2 CPU 6420 processor setup. The problem is: when checking its temperature in Core Temp it reports:

Tjunction: 85C (!!!)
Core 1: 21C
Core 2: 22C

I've used the machine for a good day now and really pushed it, and it's been fine. SpeedFan reports temperatures of around 45C-50C. Yet, apparently, the Tjuction temperature should be the lowest of the two values? What do you guys think? Is it a problem with the heat sensor, or is something on the CPU really running _that hot_!?

Maybe Google Tjunction?

Its the max temp for this Cpu. So over 85 is really bad.

Ps: Try to use Coretemp for temp mesauring not speedfan.

Don't worry about it. Coretemp is wrong, check out my screenie below, this is using the latest version of coretemp from their site and the latest version of speedfan. I have checked speedfans CPU temp from my BIOS screen and it is correct, if you see, speedfan and coretemp have the same "core" temps, so stick to speedfan, coretemp obviously doesnt support newer cpu's, and my cpu is like a year old! lol.

^Well, duh.
"Tjunction" is a fixed value set by Intel to mark the throttling point, it's not a temperature reading.
