All due to the gpu
So I currently have an old athlon single core in my pc(3800+ 2.4ghz).I ordered an intel core 2 duo e6600 @ 2.4ghz...In call of duty mw3 I get 10-20 fps with the amd..Will I get better fps with the intel cpu?
Rest of the pc:
Ram:2gb
Graphics card:Both integrated
Amd-Geforce 6150se
Intel-Gma 950
You need a graphics card to see improvement in fps the most.
Let me tell you this much, I have an old Athlon 4200+ I let the kids use and they are astonished at what this little machine can do.
Everyone who comes over says the same thing...holy shit!! That thing plays great. I can't believe my own eyes, naw, NO way that's a AMD Athlon 2, can't be.
So I show them. I hear WOW's a lot.
There is nothing special in the machine either, 4G ddr2, air cooler, slight OC for the cpu and a good (older) graphics card I had laying around. It's a XFX 6870 with 2G ram.
I can play COD BO2, F1 2012, Test Drive Ferrari Racing, Sniper Ghost Warrior2, BF3 and a host of other games on it.
However, not on Ultra settings of course, but normal settings.
Smooth as silk 98% of the time. And that's pretty damn good for such lesser stuff, I think.
All due to the gpu.
