I'm trying to figure how to run dual monitors on my current rig with the i7 IGP HD 4600 & GTX 780. I'm trying to drive a Seiki 39" 4K TV/Monitor via 4600 for movies and videos & a Vizio 32" 1080P TV/Monitor via GTX 780 for gaming like usual. Is it possible to do this. If so how ?

Hm? Sorry:confused: I haven't used it in over a year but thought I read that it could be done. One of the modes supports it I thought.
One display using dedicated and the on board controlling the other.
After some research I don't believe your board supports it anyway (again sorry)
Good luck! I hope you figure it out as I would like to know as well.

If you can enable the onboard graphics with the GTX780 inserted, yes it is possible.

If you can't enable the onboard graphics with the GTX780 inserted, then you'll have to run both monitors off the GTX780.

Edit: Just looked up your motherboard. You have to go into your BIOS and enabled the option called "iGPU Multi-Monitor". It is somewhere in the "Advanced" menu, maybe under "System Agent Configuration". This will enable the iGPU while your GTX780 is inserted. Here is the issue though, when this option is enabled, the shared memory amount for the iGPU is locked at 64MB. I don't know if 64MB of Video memory will be enough to properly drive a 4K display.

Yes its possible and I was gonna do that at first but monitor only has HDMI. GTX 780 can only do 4K over DP & HDMI but I couldn't find any DP to HDMI adapters that could do 4K

Benchmark Scores I once chugged 2 coronas at once, not consecutively, at the same time.
Easy, enable iGPU multi monitor from bios as mentioned, plug both in. Boot. If you still get nothing from the mobo output, you'll have to install the Intel drivers, IME windows 8 installs them automatically, windows 7 you have to install them manually.

I am running 3 monitors, two off one of my 6950s, and the other from the 2500k's GPU.

Use the 780's HDMI for the 4K Monitor and use a DVI to HDMI adapter for the 1080p Monitor.
