For such a large country you have tiny LAN's .. 200 people is like village sized LAN over here lol.

Unfortunately PC gaming is not as popular as consoles are here in the US, also the state of California is almost the size of Sweden, and with a far larger population, however people are far less willing to travel now, given most people think the internet makes LAN's moot. :shadedshu

Also this is our 4th LAN, and we are growing, our first was about 50 people the last one was nearly 150, I will be happy if we get 300 people total, as we just about double in size with every LAN.

Which is sort of my point really. Even if consoles are more popular it should scale with a larger populus. I suppose you've heard of dreamhack?
edit/ I'm not flaming here, if it appears so. I'm just scratching my head as to how such a large country have such small LAN's..
    Anyways, best of luck!

Trust me I am wist you, I long for the days where we would have 1000+ people show up every other month, for doom quake and unreal for a whole weekend. IMO it's just over all lazyness, it's hard to justify 300+ dollars for a weekend and time of travel when you can simply play for the same amount of time at home.
