    I have three of these babies and selling two of them:D These are the retail version (not OEM) and come with the 3.5 mounting adapter. Newegg currently is out of these so get them while you can:D Remember these are BNIB;) $250 shipped for each, both for $475 shipped;)

    Forgot to add that these are Gen II's.

    What is so good about these drives other than theyre fast? Who needs hdd's that fast? (seriosuly, what are they good for?)

    Faster loading times, faster saving times, faster file copys, faster boot up times, faster response times....need i go on. Pretty much anything the mechanical hard drive would bottleneck in a system is being taken away.

    The slowest thing on a computer these days is a standard hard drive. Using an SSD brings that limiting factor up to a higher level. One SSD is about as fast as two or three HDDs in raid 0, but access times are instant (.1 ms). The HDTach screenshot above is mine if you need more proof.
