It looks like Apple is pulling a Microsoft. A security researcher named Tom Ferris has gotten frustrated with Apples lack of security updates. In January, he pointed out seven security holes, and Apple is yet to patch them. Apple says that they did plan to patch the security holes in the next automatic update in Mac OS X.

However, they completely leave out what SIGNIFICANCE those security holes contain... they could be anything from allowing a popup window to open to rendering your computer useless...


interesting how the media spins things isnt it? They always state what the exploit in IE or something can do and how its done, but apple 'sploits are always undisclosed...

hmm? perhaps they arent major. I'm sure if it was important, apple would have probably looked at it by now....
