So im trying to Flash a Sapphire Nitro 7900XT bios to my XFX 7900XT bios, however it keeps failing the IFWI SSID check. I checked the documentation but I did not find a command to override this check. Is there one?

Hello.
On Polaris cards i was able to cross flash the cards.
I still have some Sapphire RX 580 8 GB with Samsung memory chips with XFX BIOS in them.
However, after that it is impossible to do that.
So, there is no point to try to do that.
Cheers

As i said earlier, on newer models, made after Polaris (we are talking here about Navi 2x and Navi 3x chips) there is no way to do that.
Your card is made using a Navi 31 chip so there is no point to try.
Sorry mate.
Just for our info, why in the world would you want to crossflash a Navi card ?

Just to push the card as far as I can within its limits. Sapphire Nitro tends to have the higher clocks and power, so upping those limits via VBIOS driver update would give around a 5% boost. Not much but its best than nothing.
