Been getting this sometimes when I tab out of league of legends or just now when a game ended and it went to switch from full screen back to windowed mode. It went back to normal after like 30 seconds but I am more than a bit concerned. Could this be as simple as a driver issue?
Edit: For context that’s about the leftmost 40% of my monitor the rest was blank before it went to normal. Built in Monitor graphics when powering up/down are normal during this issue.

Could be, could be not. If you want to rule out drivers, you could (and should) do a full clean reinstall with DDU and (optional) NVCleanstall. Monitor then as it’s done.

Guess I’ll work on ruling out drivers. Clean Install is only about a month old with 4-5 applications installed so maybe it just needs some help.

Since when do you encounter this?

You can also try the windows repair tools like sfc.
  1. Open CMD with admin
  2. type sfc /scannow and hit enter
  3. reboot the system
Helped me many times when windows behaved weirdly including graphical glitches

To rule out something else, try it with another HDMI/display cable and another output port on your graphics card.
This exactly, and both separately too. (new cable on several slots)

If that gives the same results, I would think this card is on the way out.
You can try to give it a lower power target/limit. Say 90%. Might extend its life a little bit.
