Joliet? ISO Level 1? ISO Level 2?

Which should I use? I'm gonna burn some crap on a normal DVD-R and I need it to be fully readable by the kind of DVD player you've got in your living room. I know Joliet is compatible with most computers, but what about DVD players?

Help...?

Use a DVD authoring tool like Nero. Otherwise, try Joliet, that's worked on my DVD player and PS2.
