    Well I have the brother to the M4A78-VM the M3A78-EM.. Great board... never had any problems.. great bios features.

    i'm hoping for good overclocking :)
    my current CPU almost definately will be a bottleneck D:

    Its a ''OK'' Overclocker... I had problems taking my cpu to 3.2 and ended up dropping to 3.1... even thought 24/7 clock is 3.2

    I don't like my fans being over 9000 DB.

    it can't be that loud surely

    why not just buy a Athlon II 250 instead of the fans? bah, it blows the X2 4400+ away

    i had £50 to spend
    sadly the Athlon II 250 was not £4.60 :(
    plus.. my current motherboard is dead
    so it was NECESSARY

    oh yours has unlocked multiplier
    my cpu might not even get that high :(

    I plan on getting the 240.
    I'm just gonna buy a graphics card first to see if i get any major bottlenecks
    if i do then i'll buy a 240

    I didn't mean it like that. I mean see what OCs people are getting with your chip. Then see how they did it. Strike up a conversation with someone. Thats how I learned 100% of what I know. Thats the beauty of forums. Talk with people and get answers and usually they are right.

    Best of luck to you. Also, if you cant find anyone on here with your cpu, there's infinite number of tech forums.. Hardforums, XtremeSystems, Anandtech are a few.
