I finally bought a house moved out of the 10x10 closet I've been renting for too many years and got room enough to hook up the three extra 1920 x 1080 monitors I've had laying around.
I haven't run surround on this card but I'm sure it'll be fine. I read about the 4th monitor support but my Korean 2560 x 1440 thing I want to use as a support monitor.
Question is this. do I need an ACTIVE display port to dvi or just a display port to dvi to view the fourth monitor
The 1920 asus have dvi, hdmi and vga ports.
The kingpin / 780 has dvi-I, dvi-d, hdmi and regular display port.
So I can get the three asus running no problem but I want the 2560 to surf occasionally while gaming and not having to swap back and forth between the monitor setups. My 2560 Korean unit is dvi only.
I'm broke from buying the house and praying the cheaper display port (not active) will work, anyone know?
