My laptop decided last night that it isn't a laptop anymore.
Specifically, it's doing its best paperweight impression.
I was playing Watch Dogs and it just shut off. I hoped it had just overheated, but doubted it, but decided to just leave it alone and go to bed and try it in the morning once it'd cooled off. No such luck, it's definitely dead.
I'm unsure though if it is the motherboard or the power supply. If I plug in the power cord the light on the front that shows that it is plugged in lights up, but if I press power absolutely nothing happens.
If it was just the power supply would the light turn on when plugged in, or would it not even acknowledge that it was plugged in if that were the issue?
I'm hoping it is just the PSU, since this is a rather expensive laptop that just left Warranty. It has a i7-4700MQ, 12 GB DDR3L Samsung Green, a GTX 770M, and a 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro along with a 750 GB 7200 RPM HDD.
