Hi, thanks in advance,
Components chosen:
PSU: Corsair AX850 (already bought)
CPU: i5 2500k SB (already bought)
Ram: Corsair Vegeane 2x4 1600Mhz LowProfile Blue (already bought)
GPU: To be decided (580 Lightning most likely, buying from a friend)
CPU-cooling: Corsair H60 /w BeQuiet Shadow Wings High Speed @ 2200 RPM
Case: Lian Li PC-Q08 Black (not SUGO 8, becuase Lian Li is lighter, more robust and I had a full side PSU at hand, and slightly cause of air flow, I will remove harddrive cages). One negative side about this case, is the fact that the PSU covers 1/3 of the fan, not sure how much this'll affect the static pressure of the CPU-fan. Worst case scenario, I'll have to mount the fan on the outside
Main Question: Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe or Asrock Z77E-ITX?
The Asus has a daughterboard, and I simply don't know if it will give me clearance issues with the H60, attached right above it, does anyone have some insight into this? The CPU will be clocked to 4.5Ghz to start off with, and maybe more later.
And even if the Asus does give clearance issues, which board would you still grab if you disassembled the daughterboard? Asus one is 25-30 euros more expensive, but have more features aswell, and I'm not entirely sure about the quality of the board in comparison to the Asrock. These were the only boards I could find
