Ok. So I have been reading around the web for differenced in GTG and normal monitor timings. However, its turning grim.

From my understanding, GTG is more applicable, since it takes longer to get from different shades of gray and color than from white to black. However, I'm not sure if the normal black to black timings would be crappy in this case. And vice versa. Let me compare 2 monitors by chance:

SAMSUNG 226BW Black 22" 2 ms (GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor - Retail

and

Samsung 216BW 22" Wide DVI 5ms 1000:1 300 cd/m² 1680x1050 WSXGA+

Now one has the GTG rating, the other is standard. I have heard 2 GTG= 5ms. So in this case, will it matter which I pick?

ONE Final question:

This Samsung has a very glossy outside, like my laptop had (rest in piece ol' lightning strucken buddy). I like it because of the color vivalidy, and wondered what to look for when shopping online to look for feature.

Thanks in advance everyone,
-Andrew
