I recently bought the Acer monitor in my system specs about 2 weeks ago now to go along with my Fury X. I have noticed on two occasions where there is this weird issue.
It happened within the first 6 hours of it being powered on and then again this morning. The only way to clear the issue is to power cycle the monitor.
I hope the picture helps, it has a series of RGB vertical lines running down the length of the panel. Never seen it before. I am using DisplayPort to connect from my card to the monitor and the connection is rather firm seeing as how DisplayPort locks into place.
I can still take it back to the store and try to get another one but it happens so infrequently.
