I recently build a new system and used an old monitor, no problems. I bought a new monitor and If I turn off my monitor and turn it back on it gives me no display and says no signal detected. I am forced to restart computer several times to get image back to the monitor. Once display is on there are no problems as long as I don't turn off the monitor again. I have read there is a bios update but when I go to Gigabyte page they are listed as F3, F13, F42 and F51. How can I determine which F version my card is?

Also I returned monitor and card with the same products thinking it was hardware issue but the problem remains. I have even reinstalled the OS.

For Bios updates for GB cards, use the same number branch as you have... if you have F40 use F41 and etc... Take GPU-Z, save your old one, and see the bios number.

I think there is some sort of UEFI problem... or GPU hardware fault...

funny thing... can you enter this mode and see the hot plug settings?

I have not seen this screen via the monitor itself. I will try when i get home and take a look and update you. Thanks

I found this on reddit :

Managed to fix the symptoms by unplugging the monitors and plugging them back in. Seems to clear whatever data signal confusion between the card and monitors it's not a fix but it is functional I read all sorts of fixes but I didn't appreciate the importance of unplugging the power as apposed to turning them off hope it helps
