I have a pair of MSI 7970 Lightnings.
Is it safe to flash them with with the MSI 7970 Boost Edition Lightning bios?
And is there any real benefit? (noise, temps, etc. ?)
The cards already OC to the BE speeds.

Well the problem with flashing a bios on any card no matter what is the chance of bricking or instability due to an issue even as small as voltage differences or slight variation in the ram. If you really want to get those clocks, I would set MSI afterburner up to run at start and start with those overclocks in place instead as that's safer than flashing the bios with something that is not the standard one with your card.
