MSI NF980-G65 TMPIN1 sensor says 94C

MSI NF980-G65 mobo

I ran System Information for Windows Utiltiy (Gabriel Topala) and CPUID HWMonitor
and they both show TMPIN1 temp as 92C

What is this sensor monitoring and is it a known inaccurate report from the FinTech F71889F chip ?

got an answer from MSI forums by the "chief nut" (big dog administrator) and said if the sensor doesn't show in the BIOS H/W monitor section then it probably isn't connected to anything. I love such definitive answers that remove all doubts :wtf:

those are MOFSET temps

edit: if they remain at 94 all the time and never flucuate then the mod may be right in saying it is not hooked up or something, as long as it is not crashing then i should be fine

doesn't crash but it does change time to time 88-92C is the range
Mobo is working great. Maybe I'll try some MX-2 :cool:

Its probably just off I have tons of boards that say the same thing heck my gb goes from 1c to 90c...
