I am now not talking about my laptop, I am talking about his laptop. If notebookcheck was able to game at 70C and OP's runs at 90C+, there is something wrong.

But... you linked an article of a different model. The shell may look the same, the inside doesn't have to be.

Many of these midrange laptops, and the https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-F560U...=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07QHL9KCW is standard configured WITHOUT a 1050; usually you get one or two meh heatpipes that run from CPU over the GPU to a single outtake/heatsink. A single radial intake fan manages airflow.

And that is exactly what this looks like. And yeah... a laptop like that not throttling? Dream on. Its standard procedure these things go to boiling point with any constant load. Here is that 'steady Witcher 3 performance' you quoted:

128742

19 FPS does not make a CPU get hot. And therefore, the GPU can probably manage as well. Funny how they avoided lower settings ;)

Also this, considering normal Ambient temps of around 21-23C....
128743

Now add 10C ambient.

If OP wants to be sure, open up the laptop and you can see. But I have a better solution. Get your money back for this piece of trash. Lacking that option, some heavy Throttlestop tinkering is probably required to get the most out of this thing.

Hello guys , I have an ASUS-F560UD laptop , I bought it 2 weeks ago and all temps were fine , 40c on idle and 75-~83c while gaming
But yesterday , my temps were really high , 50c on idle and over 90c in gaming .

Any suggestions ? I tried scanning for malware , there's nothing !

the game you play can effect temperature. for example, when I play dragon age origins i get like 75 celsius on cpu, but when i play witcher 3 maxed out i get like 87 celsius. (gaming laptop)

Yeah I know that , but there's something wrong , "Every single game" I lunch , the temps go very high , even the small games. and I can't feel that much airflow when im gaming .

research the model of your laptop, their might be a secret command you can do to get max fans to go while gaming, that is what I do, on my Clevo based laptop that command is FN + F1

It was the closet model I can find, the processor from the link and OP's is are little off but closest I can find. I would still agree that its running very hot even running a little 1050 gpu.

You could have sucked some lint into the intake, laying on the bed or other material. Blow some can air backwards threw it just don't spin the fan up to fast.
But ambient temp can mess with a laptop, even a couple of degrees

just a thought but most gaming laptops sound like jet engines when working hard.. its how they make up for the small fans..

my son has a huge clevo chassis device with 2080 none max q and 9900k inside.. its f-cking huge it throttles and does sound like a jet engine...

my own asus rog with a 1070 inside is smaller and thinner than the clevo device it also sounds like a jet engine ..

it sounds to me that the OPs fans are not running fast enough.. i aint gonna guess as to why..

but i still dont think 90 C is gonna do it any harm..

my asus machine has to be plugged in and set in turbo mod to run at max speeds.. on battery its limited to around 30 % power.. my machine has a 240 watt power brick and my sons has a 340 watt power brick.. both are only just about enough to power the machines..

a 1050 should not generate that much heat but then again it will come in a budget machine and will have budget cooling and limited fan control..

To be sure , I get like 90c on cpu and 80c on gpu on a very old game (cs1.6) that's why im worried !
I researched for a command , there's nothing . even on the bios , nothing to control the fans , and when I entered the bios , I saw my fans running around 2000RPM with 55c , is this wrong or what ?

You could have sucked some lint into the intake, laying on the bed or other material. Blow some can air backwards threw it just don't spin the fan up to fast.

I tried playing a little with 90c , when I play around 5 mins it starts grinding to 91 and more , im afraid that it hits 100c and something will happen to the laptop .

at a guess you probably have some dust inside, get the vacuum out and hoover it (at least the airvents)(i was going to post a pic of a laptop that was freezing/crashing/restarting that i cleaned out but i can't find it)

I had simler with my MSI GP72MVR Leopard Pro when I first got it the cpu was hitting 90s and gpu was 84ish after a long session, what I did was undervolt the cpu by -120mv and didn't touch the 1060, it now just hits 75c on the cpu"7700hq" and its also made the gpu run cooler in the 70s too suppose it down to less heat in the case.

Out of curiosity what's the cooler you have under the laptop ?, The fan(s) on the cooler in a good place and have you clean the vents under the laptop.

Using SSD or HDD ?, if it's using a hard drive that will bump up temps a little too.

Its a two week old new laptop

True but it all so depends on were he lives, like we are it's tewrrible for dust mainly due to living by one of the 3 rivers.

Maybe use a house hold fan behind it like blowing down toward the screen and bottom of the laptop just get a good one, might improve it some but like others have said high ambient is not going to help, there isn't much else you can do other than getting a air conditioner.

Before i got a laptop cooler i found were the hot spots and vents of the laptop and got cooler going by that. But it's still going get hot just a question if yo can steady it out some.

does this mean anything ?
Taken literally, it means the fan is spinning at 2K RPM.

What that means, assuming the sensor isn't bad, is that the heatsinks/airflow path may be clogged. The fan is working (spinning) but other circumstances are preventing airflow.

Take the back off and confirming its spinning and clean out any dust.

Take off the bottom on the laptop play with it open. Make sure you have nothing metal touching the bottom as well.

If you are competent this is doable.

....Nevermind your laptop is not a easily serviceable gaming system.

look on youtube as their might be someone who has serviced a latop the same or similar ,but don't undo it if your machine has any type of warranty as opening it will void it ,

as i sort of said in the other post, if you use a vacuum on the air vents you should be ok (as-long as you don't hoover up anything valuable usb sticks and what not)
you will need a small and soft artists paintbrush to gently tease the dust out , but this all asumes your cpu fan is not hidden under the motherboard, as that will require a bit more skill to get to,

You need something like this.
he has one already

to add to what i said, undo the battery first and place in a safe place
post pics here as you go along
