Run a second 7870 xt instead of the 8350
You think that would be a better upgrade..??
It looks like you could slide the fan mount upward a bit to get the clearance. How much clearance do you need?
FYI- on my Xigmatek coolers the ram slides in right along the fan and snaps right in. Xig mounts can also be moved up a couple of fins up/down as necessary... yours should be similar
Ok, perhaps the space in between my cpu and ram slots is smaller on my motherboard than normal..?
But that's helpful Norton, I do need a fair bit of clearance as the ram is pretty sizeable..i might not have enough give to slide the fan up high enough to clear the RAM but I will try tonight =)
Its abit unfortunate because I can really see how much better it would be with a push/pull system. I just don't want to ziptie..I want to do it properly if I can. =)
