Well what do you suggest
Left 4 Dead can be very addicting, but I've noticed that only awesome people can get into it. Team Fortress 2 is pretty fun too.
unreal tournament 3
-Cause its really fun and I got hooked to it even before the patch came out and I thought it was addicting.
-Yes there is and its also really fun/ frustrating cause everyones so good but if you played fairly fast paced FPS games then this shouldnt be a problem
Theres more but Ill update it later, im just really tired
just play Modern Warfare 1 until your head bursts. Im on my 5 time already
Otherwise, I agree with Shadowfold, Left 4 Dead is full of awesomeness, think of Resident Evil on speed! Just be careful of the witch
I would agree. Left 4 Dead is one of the best games I have played since Fallout 3. I am hopelessly addicted to it now, losing hours of sleep every night. Its simple and straight forward, but rewarding ans steam makes it easy too hook up with people to play.
from steam got Blazing Angels and UNreal 3 I already have everything from Valved such as L4d Hl2
odd i dont much care for L4D played for a week got into Cod 5 and never realy played since
Far Cry 2 is a safe bet!
Graphics are beautiful
Don't think so
Does it have to be new? If not necessarily:
Hitman Blood Money
type: Assassin game... umm third person kill game sort of
why: Because it still looks good and has the famous "one more try, this time I make it for sure" feature.
online play: Not sure, but most probably not.
Far Cry 2 is Boring as fuck
Graphics are utterly Stunning
Yes, there is online play.
But I will repeat, FARCRY2 is the most incredible bore of a game ever although it is a nice for a while driving around and taking in all the stunning visuals, witnessing the physics effects, and of course the fantastic atmosphere that the game sets. All departments in the dev team done their job fantastically well except perhaps the 'gameplay design' people who have left us with a mere repetative 'go and fetch' kind of game. It might even be bearable if it were not for the necessity to hunt for diamond cases with that godawful stupid bleeping device.......about as much fun (or equally irritating as) threading needles.
If I were you, I would take a break from FPS'ers and play a good RTS game for awhile.
Sins of a Solar Empire w/ Entrenchment Expansion
Type : Space RTS
Why : Epic real-time space battles. Expansion includes outstanding additions like space stations, mine fields, more defense options etc. etc.
On-line : Yes, or SP if you prefer.
Empire Total War
Lovely graphics and you get to kill whole armies of enemy! Why just do one at a time when you can wipe out 5000 in 10 minutes On top of that, it's clever, strategic and tactical all in one.
Not played multiplayer yet as I have only had the game 10 days and I like to finish single player (so I am half decent) before I go on to multiplayer.
+1 another vote for UT3 an oldy but still a goodie.
L4D is good but it doesn't last long before it gets boring. Its all the same thing. Kill one zombie, move onto the next.
The story isnt very good either.
Play some Prototype or Street Fighter 4.
Better go for The last remnant,
NIce graphic,good storyline
I'll get it it's like $10 on steam or d2d
how comparable to "Wing Commander" type games is it?
There is no story.. And I guess I only like it because I usually play with my best friends and it's only fun if you have a mic and know who you're playing with. I almost have 300 hours clocked on it, and I'm still playing almost everyday.
-Third Person Action Adventure?
-Because it is fun as hell! Running around destroying shit, picking up cars and throwing them at groups of people, fighing army bases, running past soldiers and grabing them, then kneeing them in the face and consuming them for health...plus with all the chanllenges, it really can consume a lot of time, especially if you really want to buy all the upgrades.
Well - Thats what I mean. There is no story - It might of been better if they had added one....One which you could take different paths on.....
I agree with you about the online play. I'm often playing with friends on Survival mode and speaking through Skype - That can be a lot of fun, but yet again - It easly gets boring.
Why do you need a game just because Modern Warfare 2 isnt out? Why? Im not even going to talk about Modern Warfare let just say i am one of the only people who wasn't that impressed, although maybe because i am one of the few that loved the original.
type:Action RPG First/Third person
why:Oblivion dosnt need reasons FINE MODS fecking millions of em
online play:co op would be cool but multiplayer woulnt work it would be like an MMO but not really, just thousands of player roaming the singleplayer map and how would quests work? not like co op where you'd do the same quests?
story? its a parody of zombie films for example you are playing the film, it has film like credits and posters too
now that people are making maps its going to be more fun!
SoaSE is nothing like WingCommander.
It's a 4X RTS (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate).
You control massive fleets, not fly a single space ship.
Counterstrike: source is always good, and TF:2. Other games are portal, the HL series, Black & White 2, FEAR, Fallout 3 - all good time burners.
Oh and any version of peggle is as addicting as crack.
