I am assuming some piece of shit class d amp is what you are trying to hook up, you need a 12v powersupply with enough wattage to handle that hunk of shit, remember to add efficiency into your equation after that you just plug the rca's in. It really isn't hard and has been done.

Then this is probably NOT the way to proceed, unless what you intend to power with your amplifier is a subwoofer, and in that case, you'll need a crossover/bandpass filter/low-pass filter as well since your receiver doesn't have a subwoofer preout.
If:
Buy a powered subwoofer meant for this. Something like a Polk PSW10
If:
- You intend to run a passive subwoofer from your car amp
- Your amp has a built-in low-pass filter or bandpass filter
- Your amp has high-level aka speaker-level inputs or your receiver's preouts can be configured properly
- You have a 12V power supply that has about 20% more output power than your amplifier is rated for (PC PSU will work but it's ugly and you might end up needing an automotive audio capacitor to better handle peak loads)
Buy a powered subwoofer meant for this. Something like a Polk PSW10
