yep i am a redhead who is building a computer for nostalgia reasons.
a classic pc for classic games, i had been searching for this specific card, and when i get one, i find it has problems. it posts, but once it tries to do a 3d scene it crashes.
i bought it as "tested good" and this is what i wind up with.
anyways the broken components themselves are so cheap that its hard to just pitch it into the trash. even if it looked funny with oversized components.
i had actually been planning on changing all the heat sinks to custom ones because if my memory is accurate most of these old parts sound like vacuum cleaners.

screw the caps, the diode is obvious... but the transistor/field transistor is the issue.
