Tested it - wrecked my Win8 installation.

Something to do with Win8 installed in secured mode (UEFI mode)...

Ohh well - a new installation - summer cleanup.

When the hell do I stop installing the newest shit - at some point I will learn it :)

How does it go?

As far as I can tell it is the UEFI that makes the disaster - I have installed my ASUS GTX 670 in UEFI mode - the BSOD tells something about Nvidia card not initializing.....

Boot-up is nice and fast. Try un-install driver and re-install it. I have dual GTX670 installed now, am in OS just fine, but it's a fresh OS.

Can't see any obvious issue, will do a little bit of testing and then I'm off to bed and on another board tomorrow.

bah, I'm getting "not valid BIOS file" or something, downloaded and extracted several times with several browsers!
Until now I always changed the name to "xxxx.cap"
Then tested older working bios updates and it doesn't matter anymore if the *.CAP filename is long or short, so tested with the original long CAP filename "as is", and still no go.

I'm on a fresh OS install, finally got this board setup and bugs ironed out
Other than a new splash screen anything in the bios to get excited about?

Have you tested anything in terms of higher mem clocks / lower vcore ect?

It was the Nvidia drivers that made the mess (320.14)
Uninstalled the drivers and installed 320.18 - now it works :)

I don't know what the mess was, no nvidia for sure, but I redownloaded it for the N-est time and it worked! But I can't run at 4800 as the whole last year because Grid2 and Rising Storm crash until I set it to 4600.

No issues to report, just nice fast boots. Other than that, worked fine, tested in Win7 with dual GTX670. Didn't notice any effect to OC potential, ram @ 2666 MHz+ works fine.
