New Hard drive

ok i know how to physically put the new hard drive into my computer, my old hard drive was IDE, new one is SATA...alright what i wanna know is how do i transfer my windows 7 and most of my games over, its only steam, CSS, BC2, and BF3, but i still want to have my old hard drive up for more data. i want my new one to be my main drive

Use Acronis, just transfer/ghost it from one HDD to another and you're done.

Id do a fresh install. But im that way. I don't trust ghosting on the systems drive. Mostly because by the time I do one there a numerous driver updates so it just makes me feel warm inside

If you decide to use back up method then suggest that you use window default backup system.
