Hey i basically replaced my old mobo m2n32 sli deluxe because it broke and i replaced it with something simple or atleast what I thought was simple msi k9a2vm-FD and its just been a headache starting up. vista wasn't installing first it got upto the extracting part and at around 50% it would reboot or bsod i fixed that issue by removing the graphics card (4850).
Now with vista installed using the onboard graphics i installed all the drivers etc and plugged the card back in now it either bsods and mostly just restarts after the vista loading screen i tried plugging in a 6600gt on the first boot i got the regular bsod i was getting with the 4850 then i got through in safe mode after a restart it worked fine in vista. I tried the same with the 4850 it worked in safe mode but then carried on restarting when booting normally just now it got to the log in screen as i heared the sound effect in vista but no picture pretty annoying.
I was thinking maybe its a power issue but i had none before using the old motherboard
any ideas? my rams fine and everything else is i updated the bios hoping it would fix the issue but i guess it didn't im clueless on what the issue can be . thanks in advance
EDIT
oh yeah i disabled the onboard graphics too and cleared the cmos like 1000 times. I put the 6600gt back in a few minutes after logging in it restarts itself :\.
