Intense mouse lag mouse lag i never said it s the mouse itself look at all the post i said it s not the mouse and i m getting mouse lag from pc from something else read all the post before
get rid of the led strips and the software, for the moment. (or get a lancool III case, the led controller seems to have all the controll i need)

reinstall everything, starting with an unmodified, win10 install stick from microsoft. (no, rufus, nothing) just the microsoft installer.. install win10, to a new harddrive/ssd. click don’t have key. use a microsoft account (email address) (for testing) (if it is a new motherboard , you will get a activation warning, etc. we do not care because this is for testing …

see problem is, those corsair sticks can not cause mouse stutter, bad ram sticks do not allow your computer to boot.(well, sometimes) or throw errors in prime95. or cause blue screens.

i am starting to suspect a virus/malware in your win install. that is why you want to try a linux live install.
(and why you want to try a clean, unmodified win 10 install…

people are asking you to install linux because it is a known base, it is free, and if the problems are still there we know that it is the motherboard, anything else, but not linux.
and cs:go is a steam game right?… so try it under steam on linux…

you don’t need install linux (now) you just run it. (if you have a spare ssd/harddrive a linux install is “fun” to have.

use etcher to “burn” or make a linux usb stick. (download the linux iso, i like ubuntu)

install balena etcher, (i really good linux usb maker) then run it, then select the linux iso.

then run the usb stick by rebooting computer and selecting the usb stick (go into the bios , and select the usb stick … being a asus motherboard, just go the the boot menu and select the boot option.

or keep pressing f8 (for asus motherboards) before the motherboard boots.

if you can not get this to work, just disconnect all the harddrives, ssd etc, and it should automatically run the usb stick.

we do not want to run linux inside a virtual machine…

(nobody will ask this, how did you install windows?… i use “cheap” keys on a new motherboard and microsoft win10 usb sticks…(no rufus, whatever) (and using win10 account). i do need not to know if it is a “5 finger discount“ install. (piracy) the cheap keys i buy are not “microsoft“ keys… but had not been burned yet, because i always use a clean install. (and attach it to my microsoft account) (i did once buy a full fat microsoft retail key, because i screwed up sisters win10 install, (home to pro) and had to get microsoft support to fix it. (they had to remote desktop into it) because even the retail key being entered did not fix it…)

I m already puttin linux on stick.
So after is done i will reset within boot options select this stick boot with it and it will run the linux or it will install it replacing my win11
I don t have any spare ssd or hdd only my m.2 in the motherboard with win11 right now.
Can you tell me if i m correct or no because i dont want to mess up my windows

Ok i booted and start linux i will comeback with the results but right now it s stuck on blackscreen and - keeps on and off the screen a white - like i m waiting for it to load something

i suppose that should work… (i don’t use rufus…)

when you run the linux stick, select “try linux”. i believe it is the first button…

even if you select install linux, you can not install it without having to agree to a whole lot of steps.

use balena etcher, same as rufus, but for linux iso’s… (amongst other things, but not windows iso’s)

if it is just hanging, probably requires csm/legacy boot. (linux does work with uefi, but has to be made from uefi boot)

hello again,
linux mint didn't work i went back with win10 just to test another theory of mine didn't worked out.
zentimings got same error
I bought a new monitor - https://www.pcgarage.ro/monitoare-l...YmlGp8IeWK7zwHz_hwCP69E1VKM3doykaAg2tEALw_wcB
I tried everything starting from freesync on / off
From standard to Extreme and everything it's the same shit.
This one looks much smoother than the resealed alienware i can tell that immediately but still the lag it's there it's moving very weird especially when enabling extreme mode or going back to standard or fast or doesn't matter... it s the same shit...
I don't now what to do anymore...i'm tired of trying and going always to failure

Hello everyone, i have the somewhat exact same issue since around october 2020, i searched about everywhere for answers but never direclty participated in a forum discussion myself, i have given up solving this issue many times as it seems unsolvable, but i refuse to be defeated by some celestial god-given mouse impeding lag, i want to know if anyone sees this response or if i have to open a new thread, i am determined to solve this issue and will do everything in my power to solve it, starting by sharing it on this post, if this gets an answer i am willing to give detailed informations on every variables and hardware/sofware combinations i have tried, if this doesn t get any response within a week i will consider this thread dead and try opening a new one or however it is called, i'm not that familiar with tech forums. I truly believe taking the step to share it myself coupling my self assessed perspicacity with the knowledge in tech of the administrators and/or members of this forum could solve this issue

thanks in advance for taking me seriously, i will reiterate, if not having an answer within the following week, i will try opening a new thread/topic pretty much copy pasting this message.
