From what I can find out from the reviews of the maker Andyson it's a crapshoot. It can be good or it may not be. Your link showed it to be 80+ Bronze while the reviews showed it to be 80+ only. Doesn't look good there.

I prefer Seasonic made PSUs which can be found in some Corsairs, Antecs and XFXs. Super Flower is also another good maker that's based in Europe.

Still the same maker, in fact all of them are made by Andyson. This one is 80+ Bronze though so you might be ok with it. The 80+ Bronze usually hold up pretty well.

I wouldn't. No one is even reviewing this unit and its say nothing about being an active PFC.

Then there's that. I guess he doesn't really have much choice but if he'll list what's available to him we'll pick a good one for him.

You need to realize that a PSU that goes bad can kill other components of your computer, such as the motherboard, CPU and video card. That 3 year warranty will not cover collateral damage to other components of your computer if the PSU does fail. That PSU is that inexpensive for a reason. You get what you pay for.
