ok so i got my dual channel 4GB kit and well its all fine and dandy except well.....i cant oc anymore....im curently at 2.6 but it wont go any higher...... my ram speed is at the default 667mhz dual.... but the odd thing is if i OC to 2.7 bringing the ram speed upto 675 its unstable even at 2.3v?.......then imlike ok...so i slam another divider on it to bring it down to like 536 or w/e at 2.7Ghz so i can oc more.....but the ram wont take the divider save exit reboot...beep beep beep beep. i dont know what to do any ideas?

    Do you have 2T or 1T ?
If it is 1T set it to 2T that should do it .

What does a thread on the Asrock board have to do with solving this issue?

    Totally different chipset and platform.

That has nothing to do with Solaris' issue.
