1) when do sata3.0 6gbit/s hard drives come out (or does it make sata2.0 harddrives faster)?

2) can p55's do 16/16 crossfire if modified (for sli i think a nf200 would do the job)?

1. they wont. SSD's will instead. give it a year or two/

2. no. how are you going magically add more bandwidth to them for 16x/16x?

not modified by me, i meant by the people who sell the botherboards (not intel but companies like asus/dfi etc), my bad.

well its possible, but unlikely. we dont see many boards that add more lanes like that.

I know the bit about the SSD is true, the technology is there but the price range isnt low enough for the average consumer and its even a little high for the upscale PC user...but like anything the price will drop and it will be the new HDD
