Was browsing Zalman's site and came across this. There wasn't any mention of it here, so might as well add info. Basicly it's "black" VF1000 with a faster spinning (noisier) fan.

    http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=341&code=013

    Here's more from another site

    http://www.guru3d.com/newsitem.php?id=6222

Not really anything new, but not like CNPS9500 AM2 was either :D Sure looks nice and comes with black memory sinks too! They are more news than the cooler it self, as Zalman has had those same blue RAM Heatsinks soon 10 years :)

I don't like how they kept the same 80mm fan and just upped the RPM, I would have gone 92mm and kept the same noise levels, but that would have of course meant a NEW product :p

edit: and it's already listed here as coming 12.02.2008 with 39.90 € price tag.

390g, don't know where the extra 10g comes from, compared to VF1000.

Maybe the motor for the fan is a big heavier since it's an uprated one, 10g seems about right, for an uprated fan, and the extra weight of the paint, lol

The extra fan speed probably helps it also. I had two of the VF1000's on two 2900's and it did "ok" but that extra fan speed probably would have made them "good".
