SCi Games announced the first product delays following its acquisition of UK games publisher Eidos in May of this year. The next game in the Hitman series, Blood Money, along with the next Tomb Raider game have been pushed back to early 2006 as the company restructures its new assets. The delays did not come as a surprise, as one of SCi's outlined priorities has been allowing extra time for product development to ensure the quality of its games.

Hitman: Blood Money is being developed by IO Interactive, a development studio wholly owned by SCi. While game developer Core had developed each game in the Tomb Raider series, including the dismal Angel of Darkness, this title has been moved to US based developer Crystal Dynamics.
