Bit of a random question, I've seen special Mac-Edition graphics cards and was always curious as to what would happen if one was to put a non-Mac edition card in a Mac, more specifically from the ATI 7000, 9000, 9200, 9600, and 9600 pro range. Has anyone tried it?
Would the card have basic 3D acceleration without the bios flash or would the card be completely dead?
They use PCI and AGP.
I think the only difference is the BIOS used on the cards, but I could be wrong.

Don't they use different interfaces?
They use PCI and AGP.
