Females would become obsolete. So would contraception and the human race :p

I'm dying to see how Fermi does outside of graphics. I'd like to see how fast it can convert video's and how fast it can F@H.

so true and as far as F@H im pretty sure Fermi will dominate in tasks such as those after all current geforce cards already walk all over everything else in F@H i see no reason why Fermi should take it a few stemps further especially when gpu 3 client hits i expect these new gpus to do pump even more numbers

In fact, I'm afraid it would be the opposite and males would be obsolete.

Females would finally be able to do what them all have always wanted: have sex with Brad Pitt.

About males, there's always going to be at least one that is poor enough, lazy enough or desperate enough to have sex with whatever he comes by. :D

true enough but hey with a holodeck i can have any damn thing i want and if she gets cranky i can just shut her off now if only women had the same feature in real life i think all would be for the better

and it seems the 3 of us have completely derailed this thread GT 300 has gone from fermi disccusion to banging hotties in a holodeck among other things gotta love TPU :toast:

There are safety features in holodeck & you can choose what ever you want...:p

Anyhow we could be all living in it right now & not knowing like in the matrix movies or even worst... we don't really exist we're just holograms programs... who knows?

We should find out at the end of ours journey... perhaps?

but GPU client is also supposed to help ATI cards out greatly. I think the HD 5970 will definitely be the top folding card once GPU3 hits, shoot even the HD 5870 might top Fermi in F@H with GPU3, just depends how well it'll take advantage of all the stream processors.

They insist the dual GPU Fermi will be released soon after the single-GPU derivatives. This would mean two things IMO. Fastest single card will not be selling for $600, it should be $500 or so (try selling a card at $800++ nowadays, even if it's dual) and it's not so hot and power hungry after all if they can put two in a card..

Grain of salt is a must with Nvidia's schedules

Fud sure has taken a different additude since he got burned about the December release of G100.

Can you go to the page where you see the benchmark, highlite the address eg. www.techpowerup.com right click it then choose copy, come back to this page then go to the message box right click again then choose past, then when we click on it we will see what your talking about.

I think you might have this thread confused with another thread as this thread is all about the non existant Nivida fermi gpu and Nivida GT3XX series cards (also non existant)

i think he's talking about the graphs from nvidia that w1z included in the GF100 architecture article. Far Cry 2 was one of the benchmarks nvidia used to show fermi's numbers.

Multi-monitor use is not grounds to point the obvious that competing companies will offer similar features in their products. Since they can't use 3 monitors from a single card I would consider it even less like eyefinity.
