NVIDIA has informed their partners that the launch of the GeForce 9600 GT has been pushed back by one week from February 14th to February 21st due to a voltage issue with the reference cards (G94P545), which may cause some systems to ‘hang’ in certain situations. Here's the notice:

Hmmm... I see that ATI focusing on the lower end video card market is starting to pay off. ATI released their sub $100 cards yesterday. Nvidia is going to be about a month later? That could mean a lot of lost sales. ATI is still selling the HD3870 and HD3850 like hotcakes... that is what I am trying to save up for. :)

The 9600GT is going to be in the $100 range? Right? Or is this aimed more at the ATI HD3850?

Just a note, ive read the reviews myself and it stacks up like this

    HD2400<8400GS
thats how the scores stack up, the nvidia cards are sitting in crushing postion against ATI cards of the same caliber, the 8600GT goes for 90 bucks now and an 8500GT for around 60. As for the HD38xx cards they are selling, but not at the rate th 8800GT's are. IF you look at valve hardware survey, granted its just a small segment it really shows you where the gamer cards are and right now its 8800 at the top, with the top ATI card being the 9600

whats odd about your comment is when ati delayed their boards, everyone was pissing vinegar about it, it seems things are 1 sided around here.
