Hi Buddies.
I have a PC-Shits P29G mobo, I'll choose it for the price and for the color that match with my case. Anyway, I know with this mobo I can't expect an amazing 100% OC but the message of the mobo's sending me is the reason for this thread.
When I raise the FSB 'till the 235 MHZ all are fine but when I try to raise it more on the POST appear a message that's saying something about that my system has a 200 MHZ CPU installed and raising more the FSB will slow down my system. I didn't care since on CPU-Z the CPU still shows an OC. I still raise the FSB untl the 255 MHZ (2.3 GHZ), but the problem appear when the FSB reachs the 256 or higher, the CPU slow down to 1.75 GHZ.
So my question is what is the mobo's reason to sending me this message and If there's a way to remove it, since I reached the 260 FSB and I want to reclaim it speed.
Hope I'll make it clear for you....oh, and I have a Core2Duo E4300 CPU.
Thanx for the replies.
Have a nice day
