OCUK passing on VAT rate drop now

Hi all, Just a quick heads up for those of you in the UK. OCUK (overclockers) are already passing on the VAT rate cut announced today by the chancellor.

It comes up as a discount in your basket.

My rather expensive new build has seen a nice £35 drop in total order price.

Since the VAT drop doesnt come into force before 1 Dec. then OCUK obviously had plenty of "spare margin" in their prices. :shadedshu

this is utterly true, and I'm actually looking forward to my LCS order post december myself - OCUK are always overpriced, except on the one 8GB Rally2 flash drive I found miraculously.

Odd they are coming out roughly equal to other large etailers for me on my (expensive :twitch:

) i7 build.

I think it does depend what you buy though. Core components they arn't too bad on but peripherals they can be quite expensive.
