Yea, forums. Thats not legal documentation. If they where so illegal the huge private servers would have been taken down already.

Yea i think it is illegal as i heard of a blitz at the moment with Blizzard trying to shut down all these free servers. I think it sux, you pay to play a game, but then you gotta pay some more to really be able to play the game, STUPID!!!

They better not do it for Diablo 3 :shadedshu as i heard they might grrrrrrrr

The documents that where sent out where not legal at all. To have been a legal document from Blizzard, the wording of "Blizzard Entertanment, A Vivendi Games Company" would of been in the so called in the DRM letter that was sent out. That wasn't sent from the company that does all legal stuff for Blizzard nor Vivendi games. So, with that, and seeing the true documents that was sent out right after TBC, I can say that it was from someone that wasn't getting their kicks from the high rated Private servers.

Now, if the rates where good on Blizzard's own servers, then TONS would be paying for the services to play the game. But, since it isn't and it can take you almost a year to lvl to just 50, most just don't want to go and pay for it.

I played on Toxic for months before it went down. God, there isn't any other private server like it out there.. Yeah, they got hit because you donated to keep the servers going, if you wanted to. But, it was one hundred times better, then doing 5 lvl 40 raids to hit from 40-42, on regular servers...

Were are these servers located? Because there are some Countries around the world that the law does not applie to them, so there for they can do as they like. Like Switzerland

I don't get what you mean? of course i don't like it were it might be illegal but im saying its a shame that it is, but im not 100% sure, and this way we will all find out if it is or not. If it is true that its not illegal then dam ill join thats for sure, and well i guess im also just helping out this guy and to let him know that it might be illegal and we all don't want to see him get in the crapper for it.
You gotta see both sides of the story to find the answer.
