But ram is soo cheap, there is no excuse not to have 4GB like me.
I'm thinking . . . running an OS that doesn't support 4GB is a good excuse - just my opinion.
Screw Vista - I've worked with it, and don't inted to upgrade to it for a long while. And, although there are many out there stouting Linux - I have no intention to going open source as driver support for hardware is still touchy for the most part . . . and (not directed at anyone here, more to all those other posts on the i-net WIN XP IS NOT A DIFFICULT OS TO USE IF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN THE IN'S AND OUT'S!!!!
When I get around to buying a new CPU, though, I do intend to look into a 64b capable proc - but that still won't mean crap if the OS can't support the extra MEM.
anyhow, back on topic - I'm sure those specs listed were really meant to be the recommended specs, not minimal. I can't imagine Ass'sCreed require that 1337 a rig.
