Ok to put Case on wooden table when taking out Motherboard?

I am going to put the motherboard on a box tho and put the box on my bed. But while i am taking the Motherboard out of the case, is it alright to put the case on a wooden table?(i pc game on it)

You can put it on anything. Just make sure "you" are properly grounded and free from stray electrostatic charge. Use a ES strap, or be bare foot standing on a non-wooden flooring. Best thing to do: Plug in your PSU, take off your footwear and touch it. That'll send all your charge into the earth-pin of the PSU and you're safe to handle your stuff.

If i'm faffing with mine,i always leave the mains plug in,so its earthed.

Thanks, should i keep the PSU plugged in while i take it out? Or is that to dangerous?

Ofcourse NOT. Just touch it once, disconnect it and proceed with whatever you're doing.
