Online FPS on handhelds?

It would be pretty awesome to have games such as MW2/COD 4 on a handheld. I'm hoping this may happen on the 3DS, or even the PSP. You can go anywhere you want and play some COD. But I'd rather it on the 3DS because it will have better graphics and hardware than the psp so it will look better. What games do you want on handhelds?

Two problems:

FPS's suck on handhelds.
Handhelds don't have fast enough internet unless connected via wifi.

Other than this, I see not problems. A game I would like on a handheld is probably Portal. Portal would actually be do-able.

I was watching the Gadget Show the other day & they did a run dow on the top 10 (or at least what they thought was the top 10) iphone apps & it was an FPs game that came 2nd or first. I cant remember what the game is called but I do remember that you need to pay a small subscription fee to keep playing. but its only about £1 for 2weeks or something like that. i cant remember the exact details. but that looked pretty cool!
