p5nsli ram not running at 800mhz

    HELP with P5N SLi

    so im working on my friends pc cause its been giving him shiot its a P5N SLI ive updated to the latest bios
    while checking an oc i noticed that the ram was only running at 400mhz Effective 200mhz real clock i was like wtf thats ddr1 speed but he has 4x512 mb corsair xmms 2 800mhz

    so i went to bios and manually set the clock to 800mhz when the bios boots it reports that the ram is running at ddr 800mhz but in windows i get this

    bandwidth says 6400mb/s witch = ddr2-800 or ddr6400. the effective clock is 400x2 real clock is quad 200 or 200 x 4. ALLEN

    Everest is reporting the wrong figures, which isn't a surprise.

    CPU-Z shows the real clock speed, double that to get your effective clock speed. Everything is running correctly, the RAM is running at DDR2-800.
