Actually, your the only one getting your thong in a bunch. Even now your spouting drivel and can't back up a single word why PP are so great. Whereas I, and many others, can give you links and bad experiences (both our own and others found easily on google) which would stretch from good ol planet earth to the end of the solar system

been using PP for about 3 or so years, with a bank account, no credit card, several hundred transactions, and havent seen a service like it, but like said before, it does have its flaws.

what other service would you guys suggest for buying and selling online? (i just started another flame war didn't i?...aah the power of asking geeky questions on web forums.)

I use "Intuit QuickBooks Merchant Service for Web Stores" Works like a charm. Yeah I pay for the software license but Plugs riht into my Quickbooks, I can take credit cards myself ... no problems. It's not expensive really and makes doing taxes a breeze ... although still painful.

I had only good experiences with them, so far. Knock on wood.

But, have a friend who went thru the ringer with them for a couple months 'til they straightened the problem out, however they did correct it.

Sorta like any other company, good times and bad. Never had problems with Newegg or Zipzoomfly, but other people have. Hope, if it is luck, it don't run out.

Not sure if you noticed, but the mod gave us a very nonchalant warning, I suggest you follow it.

Paypal has never been a problem for me. It is just a service, use it if you like it. Every other service does either the same thing, or less, never more. Paypal has probably saved me days of work. The only problem ive heard, not seen, are issues getting money back from fraud, etc. but fraud protection isnt paypal's fault, its your stupid ass fault for trusting an online transaction, paypal is just lending a hand.

I got one of them and it works nicely for me..

I agree with both of you guys. I've never had a problem with PayPal and their debit card works great!

When it comes to eBay, PayPal is evil incarnate. For a $200 item, they take %6+ on the receivers side, after eBay has taken thier %8+.

The irony is that eBay completely owns PayPal. eBay has repeatedly quashed other services that could eat into PayPal profits.

However, buyer protection has saved me $ in the past, so there are some positives.

I like noodles.

I've used paypal for a few years, had no problems with it. Had an instance once where I had an eBay go bad, and they recovered the money for me. Works fine. I go on a site, I pay for an item, use paypal, no hidden fees, no charges for me, works great.
