Well, I've thought about the finance and this is the only way I can get a good system.

I earn £800 or $1400 monthly

Insurance - £200 = $400
Rent - £100 = $200
Petrol - £160 = $320
Phone Contract - £35 = $70
**Finance** - £50 = $100

Equals = £545 or $1090

What does everyone think ???? Should I still get system on finance? Thanks, I appreciate the help and feedback here. Plus I already have a good credit history so far, I've been paying for my car insurance since 17 monthly through finance. Thanks again.

Lol, that sounds just like my monthly income, except without the petrol/insurance fees (I could never drive, I can't stand being sat in a car going no where, and considering the places I'd go, I'd be stuck in traffic a LOT).

I did finance on my new PC stuff, because I work in retail I know for a fact that it will all be paid off by end of September/October once the Xmas hours come in, it nearly doubles my income.

Don't ever get finance unless you can absolutely guarantee you can pay it off quickly, I've had people look at me and go "You're only 19, you can't have finance" or "you've just messed your entire life up now you're in debt", but I know it will be paid off quickly.

In the end, its your life.

Anyway, as to what to get, I'd either get a single 280GTX if you are dead set on nvidia. Unless you are running super high resolutions you have no need for triple or quad SLi, nice to brag about though, but as you are using finance don't overstretch it just because you can.

Thanks for the advice darknova, I work in retail too. I understand what your saying about finance. I would go hungry at the end of the day if it meant off my finance because that is the most crucial thing as it can affect your entire financial situation. I've got a job interview soon, If I get it I'll be on £1200 a month after tax. Shall I wait to see if I get the job ?? If I do then go ahead with the finance ?? Thanks for the advice people  Much appreciated

If you can afford it right now then get it, because even if you don't get the job your situation hasn't changed has it?

True, earning £1200 a month just reduces the risk. Thanks again though, some really good tips from you! Thanks on the way :D. The payments work out at £50 a month which I thought was reasonable.

Ok, heres my graphics options:
- 3 x 512MB XFX 9800GTX, Black Edition (TRI SLI - if possible) ----- £480
- 3 x EVGA 8800 GT'S (TRI SLI - if possible) ------ £350
- 1 x EVGA 280GTX 1GB SSC Edition ------ £410
- 2 x XFX GTX 280 XXX ------ £710

Thanks

Well if money no object and they are the only choices. then the 2 x XFX GTX 280's especially if you want this to last you 5 years.

two 4870X2's would still be a better investment IMO, but its up to you.

In a state of flux...
Well for a start 3 9800GTXs running will take a lot of power, so you'll be needing AT LEAST a 1000 watt PSU..and they don't come cheap lol

as said above, go with 2 GTs or GTXs, it'll serve you well....or if you really want something a bit better...go with the ATI 4850s as they are pretty decent and if I remember right cheaper than the GTXs and perform about the same
